Clarksons Platou Securities believes the North Sea OSV market is heating up into 2018, with tendering activity at its highest level for 10 years.
Managing director of equity and credit research, Turner Holm, said there are currently requirements for 29 vessels, with 15 of those representing "incremental demand."
There are also 14 rig tenders for work beginning in 2018 that have no associated OSV tenders at the moment.
