Norway's Eidesvik Offshore has stretched a deal for a platform supply vessel (PSV) chartered to Statoil.
The oil major has declared a one-year option for the 6,000-dwt Viking Energy (built 2003) from April this year, in direct continuation.
As a result, the vessel will be prepared for shore power, and equipment for better fuel-consumption measurement will be installed, the shipowner said.
