Statoil has awarded a contract to upgrade its Njord Bravo FSO to compatriot company Aibel in a deal worth NOK 1.3bn ($167.5m).
The FSO will be prepared for extended operation of the Njord and Hyme fields, as well as tie-in of two new field developments in the Norwegian Sea, Bauge and Fenja.
