Ex-Subsea 7 executive Oyvind Mikaelsen is the new CEO of Norway-based OSV owner DeepOcean.
He left Subsea 7 on 1 January having served 25 years, most recently as executive vice president of commercial.
DeepOcean's interim CEO Ottar K Maeland returns to his previous role as COO.
"We are very pleased to welcome Oyvind Mikaelsen on board," said chairman Terje Askvig.
