Drilling rigs off Norway are generating significantly less demand for anchor handling tug supply vessels than before the sector’s heavy downturn, according to Westshore Shipbrokers analyst Inge Moy.

In the Norwegian sector of the North Sea, eight of the 14 units now working, or nearly 60%, represent no demand for rig moves and mooring carried out by AHTS vessels, Moy told TradeWinds this week.
