Oslo-listed Subsea 7 has won a second contract from Shell in a week.

The "sizeable" deal, worth between $50m and $150m, will see the OSV company work on the deepwater Vito development, 150 miles south of New Orleans in the Gulf of Mexico.

The contract covers the project management, engineering, procurement, installation and pull-in of two production flowlines with steel catenary risers (SCRs), one gas lift flowline and SCR, and the umbilical system.
