Anchor-handler (AHTS) rates are likely to spike in the North Sea after Norway sold out of spot vessels.

All 11 operational vessels were out on jobs on Friday after Equinor and Aker BP fixed Island, Dof, Havila and SolstadFarstad ships for work on the Maersk Interceptor and Safe Scandinavia rigs.

Rates are described as moderate at NOK 180,000 ($22,000) per day by broker Westshore, but it is tipping a "significant jump" if there is further activity on rig moves.
