A strike by Norwegian rig workers is having a knock-on effect on the offshore support vessel (OSV) sector.
Last Tuesday 669 workers went home after rejecting a proposed wage deal, closing Shell’s Knarr field, which produces 23,900 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
Broker Westshore said the action is limiting activity for anchor-handlers as planned rig moves are put on hold.
