Norway's Eidesvik Offshore has fixed an offshore support vessel for wind work at Germany's Merkur Offshore in the North Sea.
The 13,500-dwt support ship Viking Neptun (built 2015) has been chartered for five months starting mid-September, with a further 2.5-month option attached.
The deal marks the the fifth contract for the Jan Fredrik Meling-led company in the offshore wind market since the beginning of 2016.
