A run of platform supply vessel (PSV) fixtures has seen rates double in the North Sea as the fleet came close to selling out.
Fletcher Shipping's 5,150-dwt Standard Supplier (built 2007) won £11,000 ($14,400) per day from Taqa for supply duties, brokers reported.
This is up from £5,500 earlier in the week.
Utilisation has hit 97%, with one ship out of 34 ships free in Norway, and two of 49 open in the UK.
