The Aberdeen-based firm purchased the 3,000-dwtplatform supply vessel Acadian Sea (built 1991) two weeks ago and rechristenedit FS Taurus.
The ship was formerly Farstad Shipping’s FarServer, one of the last vessels to be built at the Hall Russell shipyard inAberdeen.
It was sold to Secunda of Canada in 2005 for$16m and has been plying its trade in the North Sea ever since.
