Mexico’s Constructora Subacuatica Diavaz hasagreed to extend its charter of the 10,350-hp ArbolGrande (built 2003).
Thenew contract is valid until end 2014 and includes an option for Diavaz todeclare an additional year under the same contract.
DeepOcean was awarded the original contract in 2003 and ArbolGrande has been working in Mexican waters since delivery.
The vessel is said to have proven itself as a asset for Diavaz in topside and subsea construction support and IMR work for state owned oil and gascompany PEMEX.
