SeajacksInternational has ordered the world’s largest offshore wind farm installationvessel at Samsung Heavy Industries.
Thevessel has been specifically designed to meet the demands associated withworking UK Round 3, Scottish territorial waters and the other North WestEuropean markets.
Thevessel is due to be delivered in late 2015. Seajacks also has options for theconstruction of an additional two units.
NamedSeajacks Scylla,the new vessel is based on the Gusto MSC NG14000X design and will be the fifthnew self-propelled jack-up to join the Seajacks fleet since 2009.
