Thecontract extension, which has just been exercised by Petronas, is worth $54m tothe Danish company, it confirmed.
The Maersk Convincer (built 2008) will now remain on contract with Petronasuntil mid-November 2014.

“Wesee this contract as a further strengthening of our relationship with Petronasand we hope it can pave the way for strengthening our position in theflourishing Malaysian market.”
