Thetwo vesselswillbe specially designed and constructed for Siemens’ offshore service operationsin Europe.
Constructionof the vessels is due to start this month at Norway’s Havyard Shipyard withlaunch anticipated for early 2015.
No financial terms or the length of the charters were disclosed.
The vessels will be deployed at the Butendiek and Baltic II offshore wind power plants inGermany, both of which are due to come online in 2015.
