The Perdana Petroleum unit said Talisman Malaysia has taken an unnamed vessel for a firm 12 months, with a one-year option.

The deal is valued at MYR 50m ($15.18m) for the initial period, equating to $41,600 per day.

As a comparison to the North Sea spot market,  this is £25,300 versus £10,000 currently.

The company said the contract is expected to contribute positively to earnings.
