The company, part of the listed Silk Holdings group, said itwill receive $7.925m for the 5,444–bhp anchor-handler JM Damai (built 2006).
Its net book value is MYR 19.5m ($5.86m).
The cash will pay off the remaining loanon the shjp of MYR 6.7m, with the balance retained for working capital purposes.
The company saidthe move was part of its “ongoing fleet renewal and replacement programme inthe ordinary course of its business.”
