Oil majorChevron Australia has declared options to extend the charters for twoanchor-handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels by 38 months. The UT 731-designsisters are the 23,664-bhp Far Saracen and Far Shogun (both built 2010).
While thenew term of the charter is said to start in April, the total contract value ofNOK 775m implies a rate in the region of $56,000 per day, according to analysts.
