EOC in the money

An affiliate of Ezra Holdings has secured employment for one of its offshore accommodation barges.

In a statement filed with the Oslo bourse EOC Limited (EOC) said the contract, which involves the Lewek Chancellor, (built 2007) is worth more than $40m.

“Under this award with an oil major the accommodation and construction barge will provide full support in accommodation and maintenance services for a project in Africa for a period of two years, with an option to extend for an additional one year,” it told investors Tuesday.

The Singapore-based operator of three accommodation barges and an FPSO noted the deal follows a recent contract for the Lewek Conqueror (built 2004), which is poised to rake in nearly $100m over the course of a project in Southeast Asia.

“We are pleased that both our accommodation barges, the Lewek Conqueror and the Lewek Chancellor, have secured multi-year awards and we continue to explore other opportunities that may arise in this segment,” added finance chief Jason Goh.
