The Norwegian shipyard said domestic owner Island Offshore has contracted an offshore support vessel of Rolls-Royce design.
The deal is worth more than NOK 1bn ($167.7m) and the vessel will be delivered from Vard Brevik in the second quarter of 2016, with the hull coming from Vard Tulcea in Romania.
The yard added it had delivered "more than 30 vessels to Island Offshore in the past, in addition to five vessels currently under construction."
