BBR profit bashed

Indonesian offshore owner sees Q1 earnings cut back as revenue falls.

Indonesia’s Bina Buana Raya (BBR) has seen profit shrink in the first quarter as revenue fell.

The offshore vessel owner said net earnings to 31 March were $204,955, down from $2.29m a year ago.

Revenue was $7.97m, compared to $8.96m in 2013.

Operating profit declined to $971,471, compared to $3.43m a year ago.
