The Nordic American Tanker spin-off said the Fincantieri-owned shipbuilder will construct the $43m ships at its Aukra yard.
They have “essentially similar design and capabilities” as its current fleet and are “particularly well suited for operations in the North Sea and in cold climate conditions,” it added.
Delivery in the second and third quarter of 2015 will increase the fleet to 10 PSVs.
