It has sent the 8,900-bhp Ocean Searcher (built 1976) for demolition in Denmark.
In a brief statement, the owner said the ship had served the company well and had lately been acting as a frontrunner for the newbuilding Ocean Osprey on its charter with Shell.
A spokesperson for Atlantic declined to offer further details when contacted by TradeWinds today.
