The Nordic American Tanker-linked supply ship start-up said net profit was $4.1m to 30 June against $1.7m in the first quarter this year, a figure hit by a tax charge on operations of $1.2m.
NAO is now entered into the UK tonnage tax system, with six ships working in the North Sea and four more newbuildings on order.
