The contract for the multi-service ship CSS Derwent has been cancelled at DryDocks World.

It is now in Batam, Indonesia. The order was placed in 2010 at a cost of up to $110m.

Following Superior Energy’s decision to close down Hallin last week, current projects with a combined value of around $23m have been cancelled.

Hallin’s multi-functional support vessel Carlisle (built 2006) has been working on a project in Vietnam while two other units, Ullswater (built 2007) and Windermere (built 2010) have been operating in Malaysia, on the Petronas trenching project.
