The ship was bought for MYR 108m ($33m) and will now be offloaded for $28.5m.

It will be delivered to the British Virgin Islands-based company by the end of next month.

Perdana said the gain from the disposal will be MYR 1m and it will be used for the acquisition of assets.

In June, Perdana acquired two 500-men accommodation barges from Nam Cheong in an $84m deal.
