It said the price for the 3,200-hp Ocean Fighter (built 1980) is in line with book and market value.
The vessel was built at Japanese shipyard Yokohama Zosen.
Atlantic owns a fleet of 11 standby/rescue vessels through its UK office in Aberdeen.
Ocean Fighter is one of six vessels built between 1957 and 1980.
It also owns five platform supply vessels and five anchor handlers.
