The contract – signed in late November – will be extended from 110 to 180 days.
Technip has hired the Viking Neptun right after its delivery from Kleven shipyard in March 2015.
Reach will equip the vessel with an ROV and engineers, while Eidesvik will provide marine personnel.
The cooperation deal between Reach and Eidesvik over the newbuilding is set to last for three years.
