Rem booked the ship in June at a price of NOK 800m ($133m) for delivery in the first quarter of 2016.
Today Rem revealed the newbuilding has now been pushed back until the first three months of 2017.
It explains the other terms of the ship remain unchanged.
The CSV at Vard is one of two newbuildings that Rem has in its orderbook.
