The transaction adds Bollinger’s 10 yards to the empire of the Chouests, who control offshore vessel giant Edison Chouest Offshore (ECO).
Also based in Louisiana, ECO is a rare vertically integrated shipping company, as it already controls a network of shipyards that churn out vessels for its own fleet.
