The new units are capable of operating at depths of up to 3,000m and they are considered ideal for subsea surveys, wellhead installations and asset tie-ins.
FMV Technologies Schilling Robotics will design the ROVs, which will be deployed in MPSVs currently owned by Bourbon, such as the Bourbon Evolution 800 series.
They will give Bourbon the capability to monitor operations through video coverage and assemble production systems.
