The 7,238-gt Polar King (built 2011) will join Rieber’s compatriot in April, working for a fixed period of 100 days.

Dof has the option to stretch Polar King’s contract for five additional months.

The vessel has been undergoing upgrades at Noryards BMV since February.

It was previously employed by Technocean Subsea.

The latest charter leaves Rieber with only one of its four subsea vessels without a contract.
