The Dutch–based company has had to take a “significant” amendment to the rate on its FPSO Aoka Mizu (built 1999). However, financial details were not disclosed.
The purpose built FPSO is chartered to CNOOC-controlled Nexen Petroleum on behalf of the Ettrick joint venture.
The Aoka Mizu has been deployed at the Ettrick and Blackbird fields in the North Sea for Nexen Petroleum since August 2009.
