Oslo-listed Dof says the 200-tbp Skandi Emerald (built 2011) will work off Dampier for seven months firm from April.
Mons Aase, chief executive of Dof, says the vessel will be redeployed from New Zealand to fill the charter, which includes options for 10 additional months.
He declined to disclose any financial details including potential revenue from the charter or the day rate.
