The UK shipowner said its 2,000-dwt Bibby Spring (built 2008) will work for Moattama Gas Transportation Company (MGTC), providing ROV pipeline inspection, remedial work and associated project management.
MGTC is a joint venture between Total, Unocal, PTT-EP and Myanmar Oil and Gas Enterprise.
The ship has dual ROVs and DP2 positioning.
The 60-day project on the Yadana field in the Andaman Sea has already begun.
