The Ocean Swift (built 1957) has been sent for recycling, a statement said.
A source at the company tells TradeWinds the ship will be recycled at a North Sea facility and some of its equipment will be transferred to other vessels.
Ocean Swift has been on a three year charter with Teekay, which was signed in November 2013.
Atlantic will now use the Ocean Swan on that contract.
