The Dutch owner, which holds a quarter of Fugro’s share capital, tried to put the protective measure up for discussion during the annual general meeting on 30 April.

After the court ruled in favour of Fugro, a spokesperson from Boskalis said the company would “decide the next steps after understanding the reasoning of the ruling”.

Dutch news agency ANP reported today that Boskalis has requested the court to review its right to question one of the company’s protective measures.
