Triyards Holding has reported a 59% jump in fourth quarter net profit on the back of a major surge in revenue.

The Singapore-listed group said net income was $8.4m versus the $5.3m seen a year ago as revenue jumped 81% to $88.4m. However, costs showed a year-on-year increase of 94% to come in at just over $69m.

Triyards said the improvement in fourth quarter figures was driven mainly by four liftboats which have reached advanced stages of construction.
