GulfMark Offshore has reportedly laid up another of its North Sea vessels in enduringly tough market conditions.

Broker Westshore said the 179–bp anchor-handler (AHTS) Highland Endurance (built 2003) has been idled in Sunderland, UK, where AIS data shows it as stopped since 18 November.

The company told TradeWinds that due to prevailing market conditions, which showed no signs of rising above break-even day rate levels in the short term, it had opted, with reluctance, to withdraw the vessel from spot market trading.
