Solstad Offshore has won a multi-year contract for a derrick lay barge from Chevron Offshore in Thailand.
The oil major will employ the 18,000-dwt DLB Norce Endeavour (built 2011) for four years firm, starting from 2016.
Solstad’s latest deal also includes three annual options.
DLB Norce Endeavour will get involved in the installation of new wellhead platforms and subsea pipelines in the Gulf of Thailand.
