Oslo-listed Polarcus has extended a seismic survey deal with Turkish Petroleum for two more years.

The Middle East owner said the agreement covers data acquisition and maritime management, plus crewing support.

It will continue to operate the oil company's 2,250-dwt seismic vessel Barbaros Hayreddin Pasa (built 2011).

Turkish Petroleum CEO Besim Sisman said: "Turkish Petroleum values the expertise and commitment of Polarcus which delivers excellence in marine seismic operations.
