India’s TAG Offshore has added to its anchor-handler fleet by buying a former Bourbon ship.
Fearnley Offshore Supply said the 5,460–bhp vessel (built 1999) has been renamed from Weza to TAG 16.
It has since been chartered to India’s ONGC for a firm period of five years.
TAG operates 26 offshore ships in total.
