A former Petrobras executive will do a stint in prison as part of the continuing Operation Carwash bribery scandal between the Brazilian oil major and the now bankrupt Vantage Drilling.

Jorge Zelada will do 12.5 years in prison after a judge convicted him for his role in taking $31m in bribes along with former colleague Eduardo Musa to award Vantage a contract for use of the Titanium Explorer drillship.
