Sweden's Viking Supply Ships says it has no more plans to lay up ships, after taking its last two platform supply vessels (PSVs) out of the market this week.

CEO Tord Ytterdahl told TradeWinds it will continue to monitor the market, which is in the grips of a prolonged downturn.

Asked what the company's plans are for the laid-up ships, which include anchor-handlers, he said: "We are prepared to keep the vessels laid up until the market shows significant and stable signs of improvement.
