Singapore’s PACC Offshore Services Holdings (POSH) has won charters worth $167.5m for eight ships in the Middle East.

An unnamed oil company is taking the vessels on five-year contracts, with two 12-month extensions.

The ships consist of anchor-handlers, supply vessels and safety standby units, of which six will be newbuildings.

They will work in the Arabian Gulf from December this year.

The deals are in addition to $85m of charters awarded in the Middle East for four newbuildings and an existing anchor-handler in February.
