Norwegian charterer TGS is sending two ships to Canada for new seismic survey work.
The company will acquire more than 36,000km of 2D seismic data in partnership with Norway's PGS.
It will use Sanco Shipping's 2,550-dwt Sanco Spirit (built 2009) and Atlantic Marine's 685-dwt Atlantic Explorer (built 1985).
Work starts later this month in the Labrador Sea, Newfoundland Orphan-Flemish Pass basins and Grand Banks areas.
