Eidesvik Offshore has seen its contract with Harkand terminated after the Oaktree-backed subsea company went into administration.
The Oslo-listed owner said that administrators informed the company of the cancellation of the charter for the 130-loa Viking Poseidon (built 2009).
Eidesvik said the vessel had been in lay-up since October 2015 and its maturity was originally set for January 2017.
It went into a charter contract since its initial delivery in 2009.
