Australia’s Clough has secured a long-term charter for its 6,500-dwt Rem Clough (built 2008) in a deal worth $38m.

The diving support and subsea construction ship has been chartered by Wild Well Control, a subsidiary of Superior Energy Services.

The initial contract is for one year, but the charterer has options to extend the contract for another two six month periods.

The Rem Clough is equipped with a 250 tonne offshore rated actively heave compensated crane capable of deploying subsea structures in up to 2,500 metre water depth.
