Choo Chiau Beng-led Keppel Corp has chalked up another newbuilding order.
Singapore-listed Keppel’s latest capture is an accommodation rig contract from Norway’s Floatel International.
Keppel says the deal, its third with Floatel, tips the scales at $260m.
The rig is scheduled to be delivered from Keppel’s FELS division in first quarter of 2014.
Only last week Keppel FELS announced a $140m contract to built a self-erecting rig for John Fredriksen’s Seadrill.
