John Fredriksen's Seatankers is thought to have picked up a series of platform-supply vessels in China.
Brokers say the Norwegian magnate’s private company has penned up to four newbuildings at Sinopacific and is expected to pass them on to Oslo-listed Deep Sea Supply, which Fredriksen controls.
It is believed the order is for two firm Ulstein Design's PX105 CD vessels, with options for two more.
